Good day fellow particle ambassadors!

As developers, we want everybody to experience our game as best as possible. To allow for this, we have added the possibility to customise the game through a settings menu. We plan to rework the settings, as they are fairly limited right now, because we add new settings as we need them. Of course we have our own ideas about what should be in there, but we are also interested in what you expect or want from a game like this.

So we would like to ask to please share any thoughts you have on this subject. We can't make any promises, but we will take all your preferences into account.

Right now the only settings I would like is a toggle shoot button (so that I won't have to hold Shift non stop) and the option to choose slots per weapon (though this doesn't nescessarily need a menu option).

But there are topics about these already I believe.

I just added a setting to make the primary fire toggle, or even inverse of what it is right now (shoot unless button down). It somehow makes you feel less powerful, but it is much nicer on the trigger finger. :D

Will be in the next closed beta version, looking forward to seeing if you guys like it!

In other new, and also on topic, I added FPS and VSync settings as well, which seem to work quite well.

Hmmm. Great question!

I like the menus and options that are currently there 3/22/2015.

More choices in level-up weapons and companions would be great (or an option to enable actual selection out of all of the options... but maybe that would change the game?).

I'm not sure of the best way to describe, but what about more of a roadmap. Where each level takes you from somewhere to somewhere else. Thinking it could be a graphics at the level-up session in the background or off to the side... this could even be expanded to allow choices of the types of enemies or environments encountered... but again... that might be changing the game.

Hell, I like it the way it is :).

Hey, MrChrumb!

Thanks for the suggestions.

We feel that a big part of the game is that you are not sure what upgrades you are going to get each time you play, making each game different than the last.
If we gave the player more control over that, that would - as you say - change the game quite a bit.

We may include something like this at some time in the future, but right now we have no such plans.

So for now, I am happy you like the game as it is. ;)

And of course feel free to give us any other feedback and suggestions.
While we cannot promise anything, we do care a lot about what our players think, and would love to work on features our players want in the future, if we can.

MIDP3 is going to be a simple MIDP2 sucessor. And most developers are expecting the next version to be port free meaning, to put less work on porting then on each and every device. Let us know your innovative ideas on what you expect MIDP3 to be... post here.

Hey devs!

Your game is simply amazing!

Is it possible to add gamepad vibration?

And since I’m making suggestions, here are a few more off the top of my head:

• Ability to see the values of the upgrades that are currently in effect. (e.g. how much has the fire rate been upgraded?) I don’t think “upgrades” is the right term… the incremental enhancements you get from grabbing the green star deals.
• Allow switching upgrades between levels. (Maybe at the cost of one life?)
• Allow gaining extra lives. (Maybe at the cost of one or more upgrades?)

Hey thinger!

Glad to hear you like the game and thanks for the ideas!

Gamepad vibration is still something we would like to look into, but I cannot say how easy that is too add right now.

The other points are also interesting and we have some ideas that might fit together well with that.
Unfortunately we do not have any significant updates planned at this point.
We will keep it in mind thought!

Oh, and the "official" term is "modifier orbs", but almost nobody calls them that.. :D

Thanks again!
